I started another thread on this before I found this one - please ignore. It shows Ultrachannel, but when I add a track, hit the FX button to add it, it does not show up in the listings. I checked the reaper-vstplugins64 file, and I have pasted it below. Thanks anyway for previous and any further advice. Having said that the PG music plugins appear in the listing, but they were installed before I upgraded to Reaper V5.983/圆4. Gain12 I installed to see if the problem was the BC audio dll. Here's a section of the file for you DarkStar, yes the lines relating to the missing fx are shorter - no second hex number, no name and no publisher even though both are kosher. So it would seem that Reaper is finding them but doesn't want to use them for some reason.
I've tried what you suggested and the new fx, both VST and VST3, are listed in reaper-vstplugins64.ini but still do not appear in the fx listing in Reaper.
